What is a blockchain and how does it work?
Blockchains; like Bitcoin or Ethereum are open and permissionless. This means anyone can take part in the consensus mechanism or access the information about the chain.
For example, you can use block explorers such as Etherscan to access all information that gets written into the Ethereum blockchain.
