Uniswap, one of the most trusted DEXs, just released a new wallet. Itโs a self-custodial, open-source mobile app wallet that lets you swap on and switch seamlessly between Ethereum mainnet, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism, among other cool features. For now, users can apply for early access only, as Apple is holding back a wider release. Itโs not clear why Apple hasnโt green-lit the Uniswap wallet as of yet.
Ethereum devs just deployed ERC-4337, enabling smart contract accounts on Ethereum. With this upgrade, we can expect Ethereum wallets to become more user-friendly. Learn more here.
Yuga just launched an auction for their first collection on Bitcoin. The highest bid was 7 BTC, while the total amount of accepted bids came out to 735 BTC. The auction was a huge success for Yuga and pretty bullish for Bitcoin ordinals, but it also showcased the lack of NFT infrastructure on Bitcoin and sparked some debates.

One of Ethereum's key features is that it enables programmable money. Without the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), this programmability wouldnโt be possible. Ethereum would function similarly to Bitcoin, existing as a distributed ledger supporting simple transactions.
Because the EVM is fully virtual, many other blockchains can be EVM-compatible and thus interact with the Ethereum chain, ensuring compatibility and composability cross-chain.
The EVM allows for the testing, deployment, and execution of smart contracts. It makes it possible to build protocols, dApps, NFTs, ERC20s, and DAOs on the Ethereum platform.
The EVM runs on a network of nodes spread across the world, with no central authority. The nodes work together to validate transactions and execute smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain.
This means that control over the execution of smart contracts is distributed across the network, and no single entity has the power to change or manipulate the execution of the contracts.
The EVM runs on gas and changes the state of the Ethereum network in response to contract calls. Dive deeper with our new article about the EVM.
With the EVM, we all have access to the same computing environment and we all play by the same rules.
The EVM functions as a world computer that is secure, decentralized, and accessible to all.
